Art Deco Gattle Platinum 8.00 CTW Diamond Ring
Art Deco platinum and diamond ring. Signed by Gattle, a respected New York jeweler that operated on Fifth Avenue and later inside the St. Regis Hotel, this Art Deco platinum ring comes from a house known for its custom Edwardian and Art Deco designs. Three impressive Old Mine cut diamonds sit side by side across the top, each showing the softly cushioned shape and big, broad flashes of light that make these early cuts so captivating. Single cut diamonds are tucked into the mounting between and around them, adding extra glimmer to the clean rectangular frame. From the side, the gallery reveals crisscrossed openwork and fine milgrain, while diamonds trail down each shoulder into a band of delicate wheat engraving. Bold yet beautifully detailed, it is a striking example of Gattle’s craftsmanship and the elegance of the Deco era.
